A builder who ships.
I'm a full-stack developer based in Cape Town, South Africa, specializing in building production-grade web applications for African businesses. My work spans from real-time ordering platforms with payment processing to corporate websites and internal admin dashboards.
I believe the best software solves real problems for real people. That means understanding the domain deeply, choosing the right tools for the job, and shipping clean, maintainable code — not chasing trends.
My current stack centers on Nuxt and Next.js for the frontend, Hono on Cloudflare Workers for the API layer, and D1 for the database. I've also built extensively with Hugo for content-driven sites and Durable Objects for real-time features.
Outside of coding, I'm passionate about open source, Linux, and building tools that make other developers more productive.
My philosophy
- Ship first, polish second. A working product in production teaches you more than a perfect mockup.
- Own the stack. Understanding your infrastructure end-to-end means fewer surprises at 2 AM.
- Build for Africa. The most exciting opportunities are here, and the solutions need to work where connectivity and devices vary.
